Green University Hosts the World Bank Delegation

On October 16, Green University hosted an official meeting with a World Bank delegation led by Mr. Yves Jantzem.
The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Climate Center, and leading research institutes.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the Ministry, Green University, and the World Bank in developing teaching methodologies and training programs for educators in the fields of ecology and environmental protection.
As part of the discussions, it was announced that a joint project will be launched to train and upskill teachers in environmental education at Green University. Within this initiative, the World Bank plans to allocate USD 1 million to support the project.
Representatives of Green University highlighted that the initiative will significantly contribute to improving teachers’ qualifications, promoting ecological awareness among students, and developing modern, IT-based teaching tools.
The World Bank delegation expressed readiness to cooperate with Green University and welcomed strategic and well-founded project proposals.
