Memorandum of Cooperation Signed for the Green University Digital Project

On June 3, 2026, in Samarkand, on the sidelines of the 8th Assembly of the Global Environment Facility (GEF), a meeting was held between representatives of the National Committee on Ecology and climate change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Green University, and BHH Academy LLC.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for implementing the “Green University Digital” project, aimed at establishing and developing Green University’s digital branch. The sides exchanged views on introducing modern distance learning programs in the fields of ecology, climate change, sustainable development, ESG, green economy, and environmental governance.

They also considered issues related to the creation of a digital learning platform compliant with international standards, the implementation of innovative EdTech solutions, the expansion of educational coverage, and the enhancement of access to environmental and climate education.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed to launch collaboration on the implementation of the Green University Digital project. This document establishes an important legal framework for cooperation in digitalizing environmental and climate education, widely introducing modern educational technologies, and training qualified specialists for Uzbekistan and Central Asia.
