Description
Without a doubt, the Covid-19 pandemic changed how many of us engage with dance online. It rapidly and substantially expanded our experience with digitally mediated dance practices– in our training regimens and technique classes, our approaches to movement composition, how we disseminate our choreographic work, wherewefindcommunity, andhowweshowupasaudi ences and interlocutors in dance spaces. There are few globally shared events that offer such clear periodization, shearing the “before times” away from our collective and varied experiences in its wake. Focusing on ruptures, however, occludes the continuities that exist.
