Green University is proud to announce that it recently hosted a 2-day "Climate Box" train-the-trainer program on our campus. The "Climate Box" program aims to equip educators with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively teach students about climate change, its impacts, and potential solutions. Over the course of two intensive days, participants engaged in workshops, lectures, and hands-on activities designed to enhance their understanding of climate science and develop innovative teaching strategies.
Key topics covered during the program included:
- The fundamentals of climate change science- Local and global impacts of climate change- Sustainable development and climate action- Interactive methods for engaging students on environmental issues- Integrating climate education across various subjects
Participants left the training equipped with comprehensive educational materials and resources to implement in their classrooms. This program represents an important step in fostering climate literacy and empowering the next generation to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time.
