Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Tashkent's opening ceremony of the "HoReCa EXPO Uzbekistan 2024" conference was held from October 8 to 10, 2024. The Uzbekistan Hotel Association organized this significant event in partnership with the Ministry of Ecology, the State Committee for Tourism Development, and several international organizations.
The conference highlighted various aspects of tourism, with a special focus on green technologies and investments in the hospitality sector. Discussions emphasized the economic benefits of Uzbekistan's hospitality industry and the importance of sustainable development practices.
During the first session, J. Salikhov, the rector of Green University, delivered a speech addressing the audience. He shared insights on current and upcoming eco-tourism projects that the university aims to implement on an international scale and reaffirmed the university's commitment to engaging in positive collaborative programs.
